Our client in the financial services industry saw an opportunity for a startup with an AI-powered compliance platform. We helped our client build the product from the ground up.
Starting with design workshops and managing full stack engineering sprints to build out the compliance platform for content creation, compliance management and research analyst workflows.

Compliance is essential with the threat of trading on insider information rampant in the financial services industry. Our client needed strong compliance-driven management tools to be able to safeguard investment firms.
The Encore product needed compliance workflows of analyst interviews and to ensure analysts are not trading on material non-public information MNPI.
The problem is compliance officers aren’t able to listen to every call. Typically only a 5% coverage rate with compliance officers. With our compliance bot we could increase that coverage to 100% and use AI to automate the transcription & summarization of analyst interviews.
We assigned a team of 1 Product manager, 4 full stack engineers, 1 frontend developer, 1 QA specialist and 1 designer to help our client achieve their product vision.
We built an AI bot that joins analyst research calls, acting as a virtual compliance officer. Identifying potential MNPI risks and guiding your team through the compliance process. Once approved, the call transcript becomes available to the client's research teams.
Through design sprints and full stack development we used 2 week agile sprints to deliver product to Encore’s team. Working through design iterations, sprint backlog grooming, daily standups, bi-weekly retrospectives and more. We helped our client launch in 2 months well within their timeline & budget.
With over 300 active users, we continue to help our client grow their AI compliance platform. We continue bringing in new data sources & content types that can be reviewed for compliance.
Encore’s acquisition by ACA passed all of their tech due diligence. Through code review, compliance checks and info-sec reviews Encore was built to scale.
Through our design thinking and agile scrum development sprints we make continuous improvements to the Encore ACA platform as it onboards hundreds more compliance officers and investment firms.
Design and build partnership on an innovative market intelligence startup. Productera partnered with Mosaic to build Stream, a market research platform to help hedge fund analysts conduct primary research and stay compliant with regulators.
